About Me

As a writer, I’m often asked how I got started in my career.

I started my writing business on a whim when I was attending college at Brenau University. My Media Ethics professor wrote on my final exam paper, “This is great work. You have a knack for writing and expressing concepts in a clear manner that shows you grasp the material. You scored the highest grade on the written portion of the final.”

I felt happy about my grade, but didn’t give it much thought until another professor wrote something similar on a research paper. “Well done! You’re a good writer and have consistently turned in excellent writing this semester.” I still didn’t think much about writing as a possible career, although I was pleased with the positive feedback I was receiving.

It wasn’t until I received this feedback on my journal assignment from my Organizational Leadership professor that I started to take these comments seriously.

“Bethanne, thank you for your in-depth and comprehensive journal. I have taught this course several times and can honestly say that your submission is the best I have read. Keep up the great work!”

Ten years later, I’m still writing for corporate clients, websites, federal agencies, and medical publications. I’m excited to write for you, and look forward to learning more about your content needs.
